This is a reminder notice of the scheduled Thalia Civic League Mayor and City Council Candidate Forum.  Be sure that you have made note of the necessary change in date to Wednesday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Princess Anne High School.  As previously noted, Mike Gooding of Channel 13 will be moderating the event.  I am preparing name tags for each of you, as well as signs for seating on the stage.  Mr. Gooding will be asking each of you to give a very brief statement of candidacy before the moderated session begins.  Several of you have not replied as to your attendance and participation.  Please let me know asap so that I can complete my advance planning and preparation.

This forum is designed to energize our voters and offer them an opportunity to meet and hear the candidates.  Each candidate will be given 2-3 minutes to speak to the audience.  This will be followed by a few questions asked of each candidate by a moderator.  After questions, each candidate will have another 2-3 minutes to close, followed by coffee and pastry and meeting with residents.  We will not invite the media and ask the same of all candidates.
